Manuscript Submissions

We are currently accepting unsolicited book proposals for the following categories:

Submission requirements

​

Include the appropriate category from the above list in the subject line. 

Your proposal should also include the following:

  • The working title and subtitle

  • A table of contents, including a two or three sentence description of each chapter

  • Estimated word count

  • A brief description of the proposed book (200-300 words), including the unique contribution of the book and why you feel it must be published

  • Your name, email address, phone number, street address, city, state, and postal code

All submissions should be in DOCX or PDF format. The proposal should be no more than five pages.

Review Process

​

Review times may vary. If we are interested, authors can generally expect a response within 1-2 weeks.

Rights and Publication

​

Authors retain appropriate credit for their work. Terms regarding rights, royalties, and publication format will be discussed upon acceptance of a manuscript.

Completed Manuscripts

​

Authors with completed manuscripts may submit the full work for consideration, subject to editorial review and evaluation.

Editorial Services

​

In addition to traditional publication, Kingstone Press offers editorial services for authors seeking to prepare their manuscripts for publication.

 

These services may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Proofreading for spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • Stylistic and clarity editing

  • Structural and consistency review

  • Formatting for print and digital publication

  • Layout preparation for interior pages

  • Front matter and back matter organization

Editorial services are intended to assist authors in presenting their work clearly, professionally, and faithfully. Engagement of editorial services does not guarantee publication by Kingstone Press, nor does submission for publication require use of our editorial services.

 

All manuscripts are evaluated on their own merits.
